I don't like posting such bad reviews but in this case American Airlines deserve to be voted (in my experience), the worst airline to cross the pond in premium economy. And, it's down to realy poor cabin service from the robotic and uninterested cabin crew who just want to get through an 11 hour flight doing the minimum amount of work possible, including doing their best to not engage with this...

I have never had any problems with Tui. The coach transfers have always been good. The driver may have to wait for stragglers at hotels. Inconvenient but that’s life. I think your just a grumpy old Scotsna
Have you ever thought that jet2may have a bigger operation than Tui. And depends on time of year.

One of the most basic 4 star hotels I've ever seen ,we stay in la Geria 4 star in Los pocillos can't recommend it enough with jet 2 !!
I really appreciate your advice on this. Fiona and I will more than likely do another short trip down there in early 2025. 2024 is now filled up with our "Big Pacific Adventure," and "Saint Lucia 24." There is no way the Hotel Pocillos is 4-Star, however we quite liked it for a short break in the Canaries. Would we stay there again? Probably not but just because we want to dry something different.

We have been vacationing in Jamaica for the past 18 years & thought you did an excellent job covering the properties. We subscribed immediately and have been following since. You do an outstanding job covering all the Sandals’s locations & provided us great information on each. I especially enjoyed your NY trip with your friends Donna & Michael. Again, excellent info!! I’m excited for hear your plans for 2024 to San Fran and St Lucia Safe. SF holds a special place in my heart… and anything with Sandals & the Caribbean will be fantastic. Christy thanks so much for your lovely message, really, really appreciated. I've not been to San Francisco since 2000, so 24 years this summer. I used to spend a lot of time there back in the early 90's. However, I hear it's not the city it once was. My colleagues in this business have strongly recommended we don't go there in 2024, and even my travel agent who is a very close friend suggested avoiding SFO so we've booked a nice hotel near Fisherman's Wharf and we've cuit the stay in half, choosing instead to book a train to Sacramento and head into the mountains' to celebrate the 4th with friends who live in a gated community on a gorgeous lake. We're also so looking forward to going back to St. Lucia but this time staying at Michael & Donna's favorite resort: The Halcyon Beach. They booked a package with BA Holidays and then Facetimed me to see if we could get flights. A quick search on BA Avios and I managed to pick up two Club World seats for next to nothing. Due to booking the seats using miles, we've had no option but to stay an extra night because the flight Michael & Donna are booked back on had no miles availability. Hey-Hoe, Fiona and I can cope😁 Right, I will start to pull together B-Roll for our "Big Pacific Adventure," and get something out before we go. Thanks again for you nice comments. Regards Graeme

Flying AA from Copenhagen to Philadelphia this summer, on premium economy. I’m hoping it goes well. Delta is also flying direct now Copenhagen to NYC. So two American carriers to choose from.
SAS have just joined Sky Team so I'm going to assume they'll do a lot more with Delta going forward. I've flown Delta a few times via Amsterdam with their KLM connection and I have to admit they're pretty good. The AA experience out of Philadelphia is typically very god because their onboard crew are ex US Air and not AA lifer's. I think you may then be on their A321 or Dreamliner fleet so much more modern than the 30 year old jalopies they put on the UK routes to and from th eUK. Thanks so much for commenting. Graeme

American Airlines has issues with their crews being hit and miss. Flew to Puerto Rico out of DFW, a 4 hour flight, they had one drink service and hid in the galley. They were also a bit rude and short when speaking with passengers. Flight back there was a different crew and they were lovely.
Thanks for your comment. I used to fly Glasgow to Philadelphia a lot on the AA 757. I never had an issue with grumpy crew but this was an LA crew so not sure if that makes a difference. This was the 2nd time I've used AA on this route in 12 months and both have been poor, let down by grumpy crew. Back to the West Coast in a few months but flying BA next time.

Hello, you must be fine. I visited your channel and analyzed some videos. Your video quality is very good but your channel is not SEO done Properly, due to which channel growth is very low. Also your video is not SEO done with ranktag SEO score is poor. In short SEO optimize your channel properly, and every video needs to be SEO which will promote your channel and double the video views.

@Freelancersan if you follow my channel, you'll understand that I create videos for memories, not ratings. I'm amazed anyone is interested in them. They're a catalogue of Fiona's and my personal journey's so I'm not interested in improving SEO which I am very familiar with. I own three software companies so if I cared about improving SEO, I'd task the support of my own marketing teams.
If I fly to the USA we go through USA customs from Canada at select airports and we are treated as a doemestic arrival

Hello Friend, I visited your UA-cam channel and I found your content very good. There are some issues in your channel due to which your videos are not ranking well. If these issues can be resolved, hopefully the videos will rank well. If you want I can solve your problems and help you rank your videos better.I hope you understand. Your Channel issues : 1. Video SEO is not done. 2. Video Perfect Title is used. 3. Perfect keyword research is not done. 4. I really like your content. Video quality and beyond the content itself, your authenticity as a host resonates with listeners like myself. But one thing that I notice is your editing is not inline with the quality of your content. I wish I could edit those and bring out some compelling shorts that definitely boost the views and strengthen your presence in YT.
Excellent video. I completely agree with you. On my last rt flight from Tokyo to Dallas the FA’s were completely uninterested in being there and plowed very quickly through the services to disappear either in the front galley or in their crew rest compartment. It seems that on AA international flights it always seems to be the senior FA’s that work these international flights and think they own the airline as well as think they can get away mistreating customers.

Jet2 Airlines needs to fly to the USA.
Thanks for the comment Thomas. Before the panenic they were aiming for Florida flights with A330-200's but sadly COVID killed that for the foreseeable (from what I hear). The only thing I'd say - They will need better seats as I can't image 9H on Jet2 crappy space saver seats. And before you ask - a friend of mine was an Airbus 330-200 Jet2 Captain (well the lease company) - he said the seats were the same as the Boeing 737.
We've just returned from 11 nights and thought it was awful, most of the hot food was luke warm at best, we had raw eggs at breakfast and chicken breast that was raw in the middle at lunch, only used the canteen (its not a restaurant) on one evening which was our first, that was enough. As you say def not a 4 star, in fact jet2 now have it at 3 star plus, more like 2 plus. Lovely resort with fantastic restaurants and we have booked the 5 star Lava Beach for next year. The wifi in our room 116 was excellent.
@audiguypaul6004 thanks for your comment. I'm so sorry to hear your visit wasn't like ours. TBH - I think we had very low expectations but were only there for 5 nights. We thought the food was OK but we only ate breakfast and lunch at the hotel because we love going out to eat at night, and there are some great local restaurants in the area. Given our experience at the H10 White Suites a few months later, going for so called 5-star on Lanzarote doesn't get you better food (in fact worse).
@@LivnTheDream We met a group of 4 ladies who were staying at Lava Beach, they were obviously very well travelled and said it was very nice, few good reviews of it on here too so might be worth a look if you go back, I'll let you know in a year
